  17. <p>     After 12 weeks as the No. 1 grossing film, Home Alone
  18. finally succumbed--to the Julia Roberts thriller Sleeping
  19. With the Enemy. But not before becoming the runaway top movie
  20. of 1990, with a total take so far of $222 million. The movie
  21. has made its star, Macaulay Culkin, 10, a red-hot property.
  22. Culkin, who was paid a reported low six figures for Home Alone,
  23. is booked for a cool million for his next comedy. And, natch,
  24. a Home Alone sequel is in the works. 20th-Century Fox hopes to
  25. recapture the magic with little Mac, but can it afford him?
